West Yorkshire's Strategic Race Equality Network aims to provide strategic race leadership on behalf of the West Yorkshire Health & Care Partnership (WYHCP). The Network will do this by:
- providing race equality leadership on initiatives across the WYCHP
- providing strategic and positive, healthy challenge to tackle race inequalities and to re-balance diversity across our region and partnerships
- providing strategic leadership, direction and support for race equality leaders, through a collaborative, ‘safe space’ forum
- providing representatives to act on behalf of the Network to advance shared race equality priorities
