#YoureEnough is an invitation for validating children or young person’s feelings / emotions. It recognises the importance of all the positive aspects of their lives and the importance of them as an individual.
You are enough is focused on providing ways in which young people can realise the importance of things that are and continue to make them happy and help them to stay happy. It supports adults to feel more confident in their ability to communicate effectively and support their young people with the help of the resources and acknowledges the impact of social media, and this may be used to support this recognition of #YoureEnough.

Tips for young people
- Have an ‘Inner Coach’ rather than an ‘Inner Critic’. ‘Flip’ the negative to try and focus your mind to the ‘positive’ and what you can control.
- Reflect and celebrate the small steps and achievements you make.
- Be kind to yourself – think about what you would say to a friend if they were in your situation.
- Try saying positive words or phrases to yourself.
- Try using a journal or notebook to jot down one positive thing about your day.
