Living with type 1 diabetes video
Kirklees resident Paul H in conversation with Paul Rudd, lead health coach and coaching supervisor, discussing the importance of self-management and support from healthcare professionals, family, and friends when living with type 1 diabetes. Paul Rudd guides Paul H in reflecting on his journey from being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 16 to making lifestyle changes that improved his wellbeing and diabetes management. Paul H shares his motivations for change and how he transitioned from a sedentary lifestyle to being more active, emphasising how support from healthcare professionals and small daily actions have helped him live well with diabetes.

A catalogue of information videos, produced by Dr Sophie Newton, a GP at Station Road, Sowerby Bridge, are proving to be a great resource for practices and patients. The Station Road practice attaches the videos to accuRx templates to send to patients and have found them to be a useful way of relaying important health education.
