Our programme was originally called the Elective Care and Standardisation of Commissioning Policies Programme but is now known as the Improving Planned Care Programme.
Our programme board, the Planned Care Alliance Board, meets every alternate month (currently via Microsoft Teams) and is made up of members who work in hospitals, in councils and in Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), as well as public representatives who act as lay members.
The programme board’s terms of reference document sets out the purpose and aims of the programme. It also details the board’s membership and its role and responsibilities. The board also maintains and publishes its register of interests. This supports the programme's commitment to openness and transparency, as does the publication of our board minutes below.
Planned Care Alliance Board members
Catherine is responsible for making decisions and providing approvals that will ensure the progress and delivery of the Improving Planned Care Programme.
She does this with the support of the other Planned Care Alliance Board members.
