The NHS in West Yorkshire is encouraging people to stay well this winter to look after themselves, their loved ones, and busy NHS services.

Over 300,000 COVID-19 vaccinations have already been delivered as part of the NHS winter campaign in West Yorkshire this year, putting it at the top of the table across the Yorkshire region.

The NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) is holding an additional meeting in public on Monday 11 November at 4pm. The meeting will be online and available to watch on the ICB website.

West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership has launched a six-month pilot of an out-of-hours advice line, providing vital support for families and professionals caring for children and young people with life-threatening and life-limiting health conditions. This initiative, a collaboration between the West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB), Martin House, and Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, aims to address the needs of families living in West Yorkshire and the professionals who also care for them.

West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership is introducing student-supported services, a new approach designed to expand healthcare placement opportunities, enhance patient care, and support workforce retention across the region.
