The event, which took place on Monday, 21 October covered a range of pressing fellowship topics, including health equity, suicide prevention, climate change, anti-microbial resistance (AMR), and adversity, trauma and resilience (ATR).

Head of Improving Population Health, Emm Irving, opened the event, introducing Rob Webster, CEO for NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board and CEO Lead for the West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership who spoke on the importance of partnerships and our work tackling health inequalities.

Attendees also viewed pre-recorded messages from Dr Sohail Abbas, Deputy Medical Director, and Cathy Elliott, Chair of the ICB.

Six fellows presented their innovative projects, with Ayesha Mian, Muhammad Faisal, Parastoo Hossini, and Kim Frost discussing health equity; Jane Ellis on ATR; and Alice Cunningham on suicide prevention. Their work sparked lively discussions and fostered new connections among participants.

The gathering was hailed as a huge success, with high energy and enthusiasm in the room as attendees celebrated the progress made on these critical issues.
