David Smith appointed as the NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) Chief Pharmacist

We are pleased to announce that David Smith has been appointed as the ICB Chief Pharmacist. David works as the Director of Pharmacy at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. David has worked in Bradford for 11 years during which time he was also responsible for services to Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Prior to working in Bradford, David worked for a number of secondary care trusts in the North West.  Throughout his time working in secondary / specialist care he has worked closely with primary care organisations and served on various committees including those overseeing GP services.  Prior to working in secondary care, David was a Community Pharmacy Manager and Area Manager giving him useful insight into the workings of community pharmacy.
