Asthma attacks can be scary for not only the child having the attack but also other children around them and the staff dealing with it. If inhalers aren’t to hand, you don’t know how to use a spacer or there is no asthma action plan on the wall panic can set in. Every parent, when they drop their kids off in the morning, are entrusting you with the safe care of their children. This is particularly relevant for children with asthma. Parents want to be safe in the knowledge that if their child has worsening symptoms or an asthma attack you know what to do.
