Currently serving as the Group Deputy Director of Quality and Lead Freedom to Speak-Up Guardian at University Hospitals Tees, Ian will officially begin his new role for the West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (WY ICB) on 1 April 2025.

Ian is looking forward to coming back to the West Yorkshire patch and focusing on the important issues that affect our patients, service users, carers and, of course, staff.

Ian will be a member of the ICB place based committees in Calderdale and Kirklees replacing Penny Woodhead as place lead for nursing and quality.

Beverley Geary, Director of Nursing for WY ICB said: “We are looking forward to welcoming Ian to the team and wish him every success in his new role.”
