The Yorkshire and Humber Patient Safety Research Collaboration https://psrc-yh.nihr.ac.uk/is funded by the National Institute for Health Research. They are one of six centres in England tasked with addressing national patient safety challenges which include safer systems cultures and practices; de-cluttering (safely) for safety; supporting safe care in the home and using safety intelligence for improvement. They co-produce solutions to safety challenges, tackling safety inequity and advancing safety science. Central to this are the experiences of patients and families, and health and social care staff, learning about research and contributing to improving patient safety by helping us to identify priorities informing our research processes and outputs. One way to get to find out about and take part in our research is through joining the Safety In Numbers Group https://safety-in-numbers.co.uk/ Alternatively you can find out about their research themes and get in touch through their centre website or follow on X (formerly twitter) @YHPSRC.
