Still Here To Help logo#StillHereToHelp

Join the social media campaign across health and care to remind people their local services are still operating and we are #StillHereToHelp.

The campaign, devised by NHS Bradford District and Craven Clinical Commissioning Group, is focused on short social media videos and has been created to encourage local people to still seek help for health and care needs (and beyond) during the coronavirus outbreak, to prevent these worsening when they could be treated early.

It is feared many people who need primary or even urgent/emergency care are worried about accessing local services due to the pandemic. However, not accessing the right care at the right time can see illness and injury worsen, requiring more advanced treatment when these could be dealt with far earlier.

Full information about this campaign, plus all the supporting materials to download, are available on the NHS Bradford District and Craven Clinical Commissioning Group website.

How you can help

Taking part is simple – all you need to do is record a video of yourself on your smartphone using the wording below:

"Hello my name is [INSERT NAME] and I’m a [INSERT PROFESSION] at [INSERT PLACE OF WORK] ."

"We’re still here to help so don’t wait until it’s too late – get in touch if you need us."

Here are some examples:

Please then upload your video clip to your preferred social media channel using the hashtag #StillHereToHelp (the title case makes it easier for people to read) and tagging in the trust, practice or provider you work for.

It would be great to see videos from teams, too, and messages in languages other than English. Please just remember to use the hashtag #StillHereToHelp and tag in your place of work so we can share your message.

Some quick filming tips:

  • Please shoot in "landscape" (horizonal) if you can
  • make sure there is no confidential information/patient identifiable data in the background
  • keep your videos short and to the point (this gets the message accross better and has the benefit of making the video easier for you to upload)

Videos in PPE are fine, as are videos shot in your place of work.
