Population health presentation on mental health, learning disabilities and/or autism and the population impacts of Covid-19. This presentation uses 100 people to represent the 2.7 million people who live in West Yorkshire and Harrogate.
Covid-19 has had a huge impact on health and social care resources. The measures introduced to limit the spread of the coronavirus have also had a significant impact on both individuals and society. Assessment of the impact of all these changes could help to inform the planning of services as Covid evolves, but also maximise the benefits of positive changes and mitigate the negative impacts.
C-WorKS has been set up to provide a system-wide collaboration to support the collation and sharing of knowledge and intelligence across the region about the impacts of Covid-19 (and the response to this) on non-Covid morbidity and mortality – to cover key areas of concern but also include any positive impacts. It does this by:
- providing a forum to make links with people, groups and organisations who may have the intelligence you need, or those who are able to assist in answering your questions;
- offering an interactive platform to share knowledge and intelligence resources and analysis relating to the non-Covid impacts of Covid-19; and
- providing contact details to link people, groups and organisations together to share common areas of working, intelligence needs, resources and insights.
